For over thirty years, H & H Associates, Inc. has created innovative and cost-effective solutions for our customers. Founded on the core values of customer service, smart solutions, and cost competitiveness, H & H has brought innovation and excellence to military, civilian, and commercial customers in a variety of fields.

H & H began as an engineering consulting firm located in the Washington D. C. metropolitan area. Our expertise in federal contracting and systems engineering helped programs for different organizations from the U.S. Navy to the Federal Aviation Administration. Leading government contractor companies came to H & H for our unique insights and intelligent solutions to help solve complex engineering problems.

More than ten years ago, H & H brought our expertise to the combat first aid environment for the U. S. Marine Corps. Our ability to design and manufacture low-cost, world class medical bandages and trauma solutions has brought more lifesaving devices to the field than ever before.

Today, H & H creates our unique solutions in our factory in Ordinary, Virginia. Our team of skilled, dedicated workers makes sure that the product designed is the product created. We work closely with our customers, learning from their experiences in the field and with our products to create the best possible solution while maintaining cost competitiveness.

H & H is led by Dr. Robert H. Harder, a professional engineer with over 40 years of government engineering and contracting experience. Dr. Harder understands that the Government customer needs a quality product at a fair price. His goal is to design and deliver products that meet the needs of our customers without costing a fortune.

Our management team includes:

  • Mr. Paul X. Harder, JD, Chief Administrative Office. Mr. Harder brings over 20 years of operations and consulting experience to H&H. He has managed divisions involved in complex multi-million dollar programs for military and civilian agencies including the U.S. Army, U.S. Navy, Department of Education, and other organizations.
  • Mr. Charles Bolin, VP for Marketing. Mr. Bolin brings over 30 years of government medical experience to H & H. As an award-winning emergency medical designer and procurement officer for the U.S. Marine Corps, Mr. Bolin has extensive experience in solving emergency medical needs.
  • Mr. Theodore Harder, VP for Operations. Mr. Harder manages the daily operations of the H &H manufacturing facility. He has managed the growth of the organization for over 7 years and has been personally involved in the design and development of many of H & H’s successful products.

H&H and TyTek Medical Sign Exclusive Agreement

On July 19, 2011, TyTek Medical of Cincinnati, Ohio announces an exclusive distribution agreement for the United States market with H&H Associates, Inc. for the Tension Pneumothorax Access Kit (TPAK). The TPAK needle kit provides a 14 gauge x 3.25” chest decompression needle packaged in a rugged, compact casing for a reliable solution for treating a tension pneumothorax. The TPAK complies with the performance characteristics listed for U.S. National Stock Number (NSN) 6515-01-541-0635. H&H Associates, Inc. will be selling the TPAK kit under the name “H&H Tension Pneumothorax Needle”.  Click here to view the press release.

EMS Magazine reported in their January 2008 edition, “[w]ith the introduction of the Bolin Chest Seal (BCS), I believe we are looking at the state of the art for management of penetrating chest wounds… The performance characteristics of the Bolin Chest Seal are impressive, and as far as I’m concerned, if it works well enough for the U.S. Marine Corps, it will work for EMS.”
