The H&H sterile Chest Wound Kit provides proven emergency care for general, sucking, and exit chest wounds. The Chest Wound Kit combines two of our most popular products in a sterile 3.5 mil vacuum sealed nylon bag for easy storage and use. The Chest Wound Kit contains:

One (1) H&H Bolin Chest Seal, providing a flexible, creaseless solution for sucking chest wounds with its triple valve design, thick super-adhesive layer and heavy duty application disk.
One (1) H&H Wound Seal Kit for penetrating chest injuries and exit wounds with a sterile 6″ x 8″ polyurethane rectangle coated with a thick super-adhesive hydrogel layer along with a sterile sponge.
One (1) 14 GA x 3.25″ Angiocath to treat and relieve any pneumothorax that might develop.

Lateral Canthotomy Kit

Lateral canthotomy is a simple procedure used to decompress a compartment syndrome of the orbit. It is most often used in cases of blunt trauma, when bleeding into the retrobulbar space causes an increase in pressure resulting in ischemia to the retina and optic nerve. LCC can be easily performed by the emergency physician, and has the potential to save the patient’s vision.

Wound Seal Kit

The H and H Wound Seal Kit provides a fast application for sealing wounds quickly to stop external bleeding. The Wound Seal Kit is a sterile, TCCC-compliant occlusive dressing that comes vacuum sealed with a 6″ x 8″ plastic sealing square and hydrogel adhesive to stick to the wound and the surrounding skin through blood and debris. Along with the wound seal, the kit comes with a sterile 6″ x 8″ cotton sponge. The sealing square has the same polyurethane carrier and adhesive as the Bolin Chest Seal.

Our new redesigned seal comes with rounded edges to reduce friction with clothing. We’ve also added a new long tab to one end to allow for venting and easy removal and repositioning of the seal over the injury.
